Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka - S01

Three years ago, a vicious race of interdimensional creatures called the Disas invaded Earth, slaughtering everything in their path. With conventional weapons powerless against them, humanity's only defense came from humans who formed pacts with the Spirit Realm-which had pursued the Disas to Earth-gaining magical abilities in the process. After a brutal war, the surviving magical girls, now called the "Magical Five," emerged victorious. Once the war ended, the Magical Five went their separate ways. Kurumi Mugen, Mia Cyrus, Tamara Volkova, and Lau Peipei each resumed their military careers, while their leader, Asuka Ootorii, retired to live as an ordinary high school student. But Asuka's quiet life doesn't last long. It turns out some of the enemy survived, and with magic as the only weapon against them, she’s forced to return to battle as an even greater threat approaches.
