On a bright, ordinary day, invaders arrived from space. They weren’t the usual little green men or schoolgirls in uniforms, but strange, ugly robots that crushed the UN forces in moments. The invaders-called "eyeballs"-spent their time wandering and watching human society. Strangely, they were peaceful unless provoked, even politely obeying traffic laws. Still, they were outsiders, and Earth’s people wanted them gone. So the Kitanohashi High School Magic Club decided to take matters into their own hands, vowing to defeat these grotesque machines and reclaim the world.
