Magic Knight Rayearth - S01
The world is shrouded in darkness, its cities abandoned. Though Hikaru fought to stop it, the malevolent fortress of Cephiro now looms over a desolate Tokyo. Just as the ice-witch Alcyone prepares to strike back at her, Lantis intervenes, trapping Hikaru in a mystical labyrinth where she must prove her strength while Cephiro's dark sorcerers pursue her friends. Meanwhile, Umi and Fuu race through the empty streets, searching for the dormant Mashin-ancient beings of immense power that can merge with them to become towering warriors. But the Magic Knights are inexperienced and terrified, with no one to guide them. Even if they awaken the Mashin, will it be enough to stand against Cephiro's cruelty?
