Made in Abyss - S01

After enduring the trials of Idofront, Riko earns a White Whistle and gains the right to journey deeper into the Abyss-down to the sixth layer, the Capital of the Unreturned. With Reg and Nanachi by her side, she sets out to explore this unknown territory, where the ruins of the fabled Golden City lie. As the group adjusts to the unforgiving surroundings, they face deadly creatures and perilous terrain. Their path eventually takes them to a village populated by eerie beings called "hollows." Though an unsettling atmosphere lingers, the trio presses forward, determined to uncover the secrets of this place and the lost stories of those who came before-adventurers who once braved the depths of the Abyss and never returned.
