Risa Koizumi and Atsushi Ootani have a hard time with love in high school. Koizumi is unusually tall for a girl at 172 cm, while Ootani is notably short for a guy at 156 cm. Their struggles only get worse when their crushes end up falling for each other, leaving them both embarrassed and disappointed. To make things even more awkward, their homeroom teacher jokingly calls them a comedy duo because of their clashing personalities and height difference-even their classmates treat their bickering like a performance. As Koizumi and Ootani console each other over their failed romances, they grow closer as friends.
