Seiji Aino’s life takes a bizarre turn when a girl named Guri shows up at his door, insisting he must kiss someone within 24 hours or she’ll die. Mistaking her panic for a confession, he kisses her-only to learn she’s a cosplaying cupid who wields a "Kiss Note," a book that forces couples to kiss when their names are written inside. Guri admits she misspelled Seiji’s name while lost in her yaoi fantasies, and since she didn’t pair him with anyone, their kiss was pointless. Worse, if Seiji doesn’t find a partner soon, Guri will die-and he’ll be doomed to eternal virginity. Desperate to avoid this fate, Seiji targets the popular Akane Hiyama. But when Akane hears about his kiss with Guri, her hidden psychopathic obsession with him surfaces, and she violently attacks them. In the chaos, Guri scribbles Seiji and Akane’s names into the Kiss Note, saving him from further harm-but then complicates things by adding her own name to the pairing. Now linked to both girls, Seiji and Akane are transformed into temporary angels, forced to help Guri matchmake humans or face damnation.
