In the near future, Kei and Ai are on the run for their lives. Ai is a young girl carrying a dangerous secret that could shatter the world as they know it. Society is now filled with "Headmeters"-people with psychic abilities whose power levels appear on their foreheads during combat. Kei, once an experimental subject, struggles with a low power level of 5, far weaker than others who easily surpass him. Yet, in moments of desperation when Ai is in danger, his abilities surge beyond all limits. Their pursuers have hidden motives, aided by a dwarf-like man inside a robotic suit.
