Living for the Day After Tomorrow - S01

Karada Iokawa is a bright, dependable girl about to start junior high, though she hates when people treat her like a child. After her parents pass away, her older brother Hiro returns from studying abroad to look after her. His ex-girlfriend, Shouko Nogami-calm but occasionally stubborn and immature-follows him to Japan, determined to learn why he left her. Tensions rise between the two girls, leading Shouko to lash out and call Karada childish. One day, Karada visits a shrine and wishes to grow up. Unbeknownst to her, the shrine’s magic grants her request-but at the same time, Shouko, who happens to be nearby, reverts to childhood. With their ages suddenly swapped, the two must learn to understand each other and, in the process, confront their own insecurities.
