Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland
This story is inspired by the classic "Little Nemo" comic strips by Winsor McCay, a groundbreaking animator who also made the first "Little Nemo" animated film in 1911. Initially, Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata were involved in the project but departed over "creative differences." Ray Bradbury is also believed to have left during its early development. "Little Nemo - Adventures in Slumberland" holds the distinction of being the first Japanese anime to get a wide theatrical release across the United States.
