Le Chevalier D'Eon - S01
シュヴァリエ Le Chevalier D'Eon
In 18th-century Paris, a coffin drifts down the Seine River, carrying the body of Lia de Beaumont-a noblewoman and spy for King Louis XV. Her younger brother, D'Eon, recently knighted, suspects her death is linked to a series of disappearances across the city. Determined to find her killers, he joins the secret police to investigate. Their inquiries reveal a conspiracy involving French and Russian nobles, driven by a shadowy cult. D'Eon deduces that Lia may have stumbled upon the plot during a mission, leading to her murder. The secret police prepare to arrest the Duke of Orléans as the suspected mastermind, but one of their own mutates into a monstrous Gargoyle and slaughters the group. D'Eon tries to save the last survivor, only to witness his transformation as well. In the chaos, Lia's vengeful spirit possesses D'Eon, seizing control of his body to destroy the Gargoyle. Now, D'Eon must rally allies to uncover the full scope of this supernatural conspiracy.
