KUROKAMI The Animation - S01

High schooler Ibuki Keita has been cursed with bad luck his entire life. Without explanation, everyone close to him meets a tragic end. To protect others, he keeps his distance-even from his childhood friend, Akane-leaving him isolated in a lonely, painful existence. One night at his usual ramen shop, Keita encounters a peculiar girl named Kuro. She claims to be a "Mototsumitama," someone with powers beyond ordinary humans. Kuro tells him about "Terra," a life force divided among three identical individuals-a worldwide occurrence called the "Doppeliner System." As a Mototsumitama, she safeguards the "Coexistence Equilibrium," beings that regulate Terra’s flow. Keita dismisses her claims until he’s dragged into this hidden conflict. Near death, he unknowingly forms a contract with Kuro, binding them together permanently. Now, he must stay by her side at all times. With his luck, could things possibly get any worse?
