Kotaro Lives Alone - S01

One day, manga artist Shin Karino meets his new four-year-old neighbor, Kotarou Satou, who gives him a box of tissues as a gift. To Karino, Kotarou is a strange child-he speaks in an overly formal way and lives alone in his apartment with no parents or guardians around. But Kotarou doesn’t seem bothered by this and prefers not to depend on others. Feeling sorry for the boy, Karino follows him to a bathhouse, worried something might go wrong. There, he realizes Kotarou isn’t so different from himself. Over time, Karino-and the other residents of their apartment building-start to warm up to Kotarou and his peculiar ways. Meanwhile, Kotarou might just be finding something like a family in his unusual neighbors.
