Sixth grader Sana Kurata seems to have it all-her mother is a moderately successful author, she has a personal caretaker to look after her, and she's the beloved star of the popular kids' show "Kodomo no Omocha." But one thing ruins her otherwise perfect life: Akito Hayama. Akito is her classmate, and ever since he started causing trouble in class, the other boys have followed his lead. Now, every day turns into a chaotic struggle between the girls and their overwhelmed teacher just to keep order and actually teach anything. Sana has had enough-she won't let Akito get away with this. Determined to fix things, the high-energy Sana sets out to uncover what's really going on with Akito. If she can figure out what makes him act this way, maybe class can finally return to normal, and their teacher can stop crying at her desk every day. But the more she digs into Akito's life, the more she begins to suspect that there's a lot more to him than his bad behavior.
