KAWAGOE BOYS SING -Now or Never- - S01

A month has passed since Haruo Hibiki, a brilliant but eccentric orchestra conductor, was abruptly fired from the Cosmopolitan Philharmonic Orchestra. Unable to secure another prestigious role, he reluctantly takes a job teaching music at Kawagoe Private Academy. There, he’s given a challenge: if he can assemble a boys' choir and lead them to victory in the annual competition, he’ll get his old job back. Determined to reclaim his place in the spotlight, Haruo scours the school for talented singers. His unconventional personality, however, makes it hard to connect with anyone-especially Tenshi Dei, a boy who loves singing but freezes in front of an audience. With just one year to turn this ragtag group into a winning choir, Haruo must find a way to guide his students while learning to work with them.
