Izumo: Flash of a Brave Sword - S01

Takeru Yagi has lived with the Touma family since losing his parents, raised by the household's patriarch, Rokunosuke Touma. His life is filled with familiar faces-his best friend and kendo rival, Takeshi Yamato; the Shiratori sisters, Kotono and Asuka; and his childhood friend, Seri Oosu. Everything seems peaceful until an earthquake shakes their school. When Takeru regains consciousness, the building lies in ruins, as if abandoned for centuries. The teachers and students are gone. He reunites with Seri and Asuka, and together they escape the wreckage, only to discover their entire town is now deserted. Soon, cloaked figures approach them, revealing the shocking truth: they've been transported to another world.
