Island - S01

A man with no memory of his name or homeland washes ashore on a distant island called Urashima. He remembers only one thing: he is a time traveler sent to protect a girl from danger. When night falls, he meets Rinne Ohara, a girl whose song stirs a faint memory-the name "Setsuna"-and he adopts it for himself. Rinne, who once knew another "Setsuna," takes him in as a servant, hoping he might be the same person. Meanwhile, Setsuna slowly uncovers more about Urashima-its local legends, the three powerful families that rule it, and a strange illness that forces those infected to avoid sunlight. As he pieces together the island's secrets and his own forgotten past, Setsuna races to remember his mission. But the deeper he delves into Urashima's struggles, the more he wonders: was he sent through time just to save one girl, or is there something greater at stake?
