High schooler Sora Kashiwagi is used to getting strange gifts from his globetrotting father, but they’ve always been more trouble than they’re worth. So when a massive package arrives from Egypt, Sora braces for another disaster-only to find Mii-kun, an adorable little mummy inside. Though hesitant at first, Sora quickly realizes Mii-kun is gentle and just wants love and care. As they navigate their daily lives together, Sora and Mii-kun encounter others with unusual pets, all while growing closer. Taking care of a pet isn’t easy, but Sora is determined to give Mii-kun the happiness he deserves.
