HANEBADO! - S01
はねバド！ , The Badminton play of Ayano Hanesaki!
After suffering a humiliating 21-0 loss at the National Junior Badminton Tournament, Nagisa Aragaki's passion for the sport twists into something darker. Unable to bear the shame of defeat, she turns ruthless, pushing her high school badminton club to the brink with brutal training sessions that drive some members to tears-or to quit entirely. As the team shrinks and new recruits stay away out of fear, the club's survival seems hopeless. Then Kentarou Tachibana arrives as the new coach. An Olympic-caliber player, he brings with him an unexpected surprise: Ayano Hanesaki, the very girl who crushed Nagisa in that fateful match six months earlier. But Ayano isn't the fierce rival Nagisa remembers-instead, she's a conflicted shadow of herself, desperate to leave badminton behind. Now, with the club's future at stake, Nagisa must confront her own fear of failure, mend Ayano's broken spirit, and lead Kitakomachi High's team to victory.
