HaNaYaMaTa - S01

At 14, Naru Sekiya feels overshadowed by the fairy tale princesses she admires and the idealized girls around her. While her childhood friend Yaya Sasame plays in a school rock band and Tami Nishimikado serves on the student council, Naru struggles to find the courage to step out of her shell. Since starting high school, she’s wished for a "magic key" to unlock her timid heart. One night, under the moonlight, Naru spots what she thinks is a cute fairy perched on a torii gate, who invites her to dance. The next day, she learns the "fairy" is actually Hana N. Fountainstand, an ordinary transfer student from America. Thrilled to reunite, Hana convinces Naru to help her start a yosakoi club-a lively Japanese dance Hana has loved since childhood. Though nervous about Hana’s energy and the idea of dancing in public, Naru gradually gets drawn into yosakoi, supporting her new friend’s dream. After all, a maiden’s path is as unpredictable as the wind!
