Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens - S01

Fukuoka appears peaceful on the surface, but beneath it lies a hidden world of killers, detectives, and revenge seekers. Among them is Zenji Banba, a relaxed but sharp detective investigating local hitman operations. Meanwhile, Xianming Lin, a crossdressing male hitman working for one of these organizations, grows frustrated with his dwindling jobs and pay. When Lin’s latest target kills himself before the hit can be carried out, his company refuses to pay him the full fee. Angry, Lin demands another job and is assigned to eliminate Banba-whom his employers suspect is meddling in their affairs. But when Banba finds Lin waiting in his home, the hitman doesn’t attack. Instead, he makes an unexpected proposal: team up. Now, Banba must decide whether to accept Lin’s offer, while Lin’s true intentions for Fukuoka’s underworld remain unclear.
