Three months into living above his uncle’s scuba diving shop, Grand Blue, and joining his university’s Diving Club, Iori Kitahara has settled into a routine of wild parties and reckless fun with his new friends. But when his sister, Shiori, catches wind of his antics, she steps in to drag him back home and force him to take over the family inn. Though she tries her hardest, Shiori eventually relents after seeing how much Iori has come to love Grand Blue and the bonds he’s formed. With her plans thwarted, Iori and the Diving Club carry on with their chaotic, alcohol-fueled escapades, stumbling into one absurd situation after another-yet somehow, between all the madness, they still manage to improve their scuba diving skills.
