Gilgamesh - S01

Scientists from across the globe gather to study "Heaven's Gate," the ancient tomb of the legendary king Gilgamesh, now repurposed as a laboratory to research immortality. But when their work is declared unethical, the project shuts down-until a terrorist group ignores the ban and raids the facility, triggering an explosion that destroys the world's advanced information society. Years later, siblings Tatsuya and Kiyoko Madoka flee from local criminals, only to get caught in a hidden war between two powerful factions. Each claims to fight for society's future, forcing the siblings to choose whose side to take-if they can trust either at all.
