Gad Guard - S01
ガドガード
Several hundred years in the future, Earth’s resources have dwindled, and human progress has ground to a halt. The world is now divided into isolated "Units." In Unit 74, a boy named Hajiki Sanada lives with his mother and sister in a district known as "Night Town," where electricity shuts off every night at midnight. At the heart of this world lies the GAD-a mysterious object capable of reshaping materials in response to the emotions of living beings. The size and form of what it creates vary depending on the feelings of the person touching it. When Hajiki accidentally comes into contact with a GAD, it transforms into a towering robot-a Tekkoudo, or "Iron Giant"-which he names Lightning. But he soon learns he isn’t the only one with a Tekkoudo, forcing him to confront others like himself and figure out where he truly belongs.
