Gachiakuta - S01

In a prosperous town where people discard things without a second thought, the slum dweller Rudo finds value in their waste. Though his adoptive father, Regto, repeatedly warns him against it, Rudo scours for reusable scraps before they’re dumped into the Pit-a massive disposal site so deep that those cast into it are never seen again. When Regto is killed by an unknown attacker, Rudo is framed for the crime and hurled into the Pit. To his shock, he wakes in a wasteland teeming with enormous monsters made of trash. As the poisonous air and savage "Trash Beasts" nearly kill him, he’s rescued by Enjin, a member of the "Cleaners," warriors who battle these horrors using weapons called "Vital Instruments." After obtaining his own Vital Instrument, Rudo joins the Cleaners, determined to escape the Pit and avenge Regto’s murder.
