Future Boy Conan

Twenty years after a devastating war reshaped the world, an old man and his lively grandson Conan live as the last survivors of their community. Convinced they are the only humans left, they are shocked to find an unconscious girl washed up on the shore of their isolated island. When she wakes, the girl, Lana, reveals she was escaping agents from Industria-a highly advanced fortress island. Lana is the telepathic granddaughter of the famous scientist Dr. Briac Lao, and Industria’s leaders want to use her abilities to track him down. They believe his knowledge holds the key to a powerful energy source. Though Conan and his grandfather try to protect Lana, Industrian soldiers eventually take her back. Determined to save her, Conan sets off on a daring journey, unaware of the greater dangers that lie ahead.
