Sousuke is resolved to protect Chidori and stays near her, a duty that is now more perilous than it has ever been. However, when the lives of her friends are threatened, Chidori makes a decision that could lead to a tragic conclusion for this conflict. Facing new weapons and lethal enemies, Sousuke and the forces of Mithril must find a way to halt Amalgam and safeguard those they care about.
