Final Fantasy: Unlimited - S01

Years ago, an interdimensional rift opened over the Sea of Japan, releasing two massive creatures into the sky. The beasts, visible to every coastal nation, first attacked the naval patrol sent to investigate before turning on each other. From Japan, scientists Joe and Marie Hayakawa watched the battle unfold-only to be pulled into the rift themselves. After returning to Earth, they recorded their discoveries in a groundbreaking book called "Day of Succession." Twelve years later, when they ventured back into that other world, they never came home. Now, their twin children, Ai and Yu Hayakawa, set out to find their parents and uncover the secrets of the mysterious realm they studied. Waiting in the ruins of an abandoned subway station, they board a train bound for the unknown. There, they meet Lisa Pacifist, who joins their search without hesitation. Together, the three journey into the strange dimension, hoping to reunite the Hayakawa family. But will they succeed?
