Fate/Apocrypha - S01

The Holy Grail is an ancient artifact with the power to grant any wish. To claim it, magi known as "masters" summon legendary spirits called "servants" to fight in a brutal battle royale-the Holy Grail War. Only the last surviving master-servant pair can win the Grail. However, the third war ended without a victor when the Grail vanished after the fighting. Years later, the magi clan Yggdmillennia reveals they possess the Holy Grail and plan to break away from the Mage's Association. The Association sends fifty elite magi to reclaim it, but all but one are slaughtered by an unidentified servant. The survivor is sent back to deliver Yggdmillennia's declaration of war. With only two factions involved, this Holy Grail War takes an unusual shape. Yggdmillennia and the Mage's Association will each field seven master-servant pairs, and the first side to lose all its fighters will surrender the Grail. As the fourteen masters summon their servants and prepare for battle, the magical world braces for the coming conflict-the Great Holy Grail War.
