Dragonaut: The Resonance - S01

Twenty years before the story starts, an asteroid bound for Earth destroys Pluto. The asteroid, named Thanatos, stops moving after the destruction. Now, to prevent Earth from facing the same fate, the International Solarsystem Development Agency (ISDA) launches the "D-Project." They discover a dragon egg beneath the ocean and use it to create the "Dragonaut," a weapon designed to destroy Thanatos when the time comes. But the asteroid isn't the only danger-destructive dragon-like creatures begin appearing on Earth. Jin Kamishina, an isolated 18-year-old who lost his family in a shuttle accident two years earlier, witnesses one of these creatures commit murder. This draws him into the mysteries surrounding the dragons, and he becomes the chosen pilot of the Dragonaut. A mysterious girl named Toa saves him from falling to his death after an attack, and she joins him on his journey. As they uncover more about the dragons, they meet new allies and foes, and their bond grows stronger along the way.
