Double Decker! Doug & Kirill - S01

The city-state of Lisvalletta, once peaceful, is now threatened by a dangerous new drug called Anthem. Its side effects send users into "Overdrive," transforming them into monstrous, superpowered beings. With the police unable to stop the chaos, the Special Crime Investigation Unit SEVEN-O steps in. To manage the risks, SEVEN-O operates under the "Double Decker" system, forcing investigators to work in pairs like classic buddy cops. Kirill Vrubel, an ordinary police officer, spent his childhood dreaming of being a hero-someone who could save his school from a terrorist attack. His chance comes unexpectedly when his landlady forces him to search for her missing cat. After dozing off in an abandoned warehouse, Kirill stumbles into a hostage crisis involving an Anthem user. Teaming up with SEVEN-O detective Douglas "Doug" Bilingam, Kirill proves himself and earns a place in the unit. Now, with SEVEN-O backing him, he might finally live out his hero fantasy.
