Doraemon: The Record of Nobita's Parallel Journey to the West

Nobita wants to prove the Monkey King is real, so he and his friends travel back to the time when Sanzo started his pilgrimage. Doraemon gives Nobita a virtual video game console to play "Journey to the West," which outfits him in the Monkey King’s clothes. Unfortunately, Nobita fails to prove the Monkey King’s existence. After he and his friends complete the game without fighting any demons, they discover their world is now ruled by demons. The trouble starts because Doraemon forgot to close the game console in the past, allowing demons to invade. Now, Doraemon and the group must return to the past to defeat the demons and set things right.
