Dog Signal - S01

After his girlfriend Yuuko breaks up with him, Miyu Samura's life hits a rough patch. Months later, Yuuko suddenly reappears and hands him a toy poodle she claims she can no longer care for. Miyu knows nothing about dogs, and the puppy's wild behavior nearly gets him kicked out of his apartment. During a desperate walk with the unruly dog, Miyu crosses paths with Shinichirou Niwa, a professional dog trainer, and his impeccably trained standard poodle, Ourson. In just a few minutes, Niwa not only calms Miyu's dog but also scolds him for his poor pet-care habits. Impressed, Miyu quits his job to become Niwa's assistant, only to find the trainer far less adept with people than with dogs. Despite Niwa's gruff personality and struggling business, Miyu is determined to stick by him.
