Devilman Crybaby - S01

Devils need a living host to take physical form. But if someone's will is strong enough, they can overpower the demon and claim its power for themselves, transforming into a Devilman. Akira Fudou has always been gentle and timid, with a heart too soft for his own good. When his childhood friend Ryou Asuka asks for help exposing devils, Akira agrees without a second thought. But the place they visit turns out to be Sabbath-a depraved gathering of excess and cruelty. As chaos erupts, demons possess the revelers, twisting their bodies into monstrous forms and slaughtering everyone in sight. In a desperate bid to save Ryou, Akira merges with the devil Amon and becomes a Devilman, gaining the strength to fight back against the other demons. The transformation gives Akira immense power, but it also stirs something primal and hungry within him. Now trapped between a devil's body and his own fragile emotions, Akira joins forces with Ryou to hunt down the demons that threaten humanity and the people he cares about.
