Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole - S01

One day, university students Kuriaki Magi and Yaeko Kirihara see a man take a fatal blow to the head-only for him to run away unharmed. When they track him down, they meet Momoyuki Mogura, who claims to be immortal. At first, Magi and Yaeko think Mogura is lying, but their skepticism fades when they start seeing strange apparitions. Mogura tells them these are the spirits of the dead, who produce a light called "demon fire" to guide them to the afterlife. Stripped of his own ability to carry this fire, Mogura has spent years gathering it from spirits, hoping it will eventually let him move on. Now, with Magi and Yaeko helping him find more spirits, Mogura might finally reach his unusual goal.
