De pied ferme - S01

After a meteor strikes Earth, rebel forces seize control, leaving the population in misery. Amid the turmoil, Tetsuro Daiba-a boy who lost his parents in the disaster-is visited by Mello, a mysterious woman who appears in a flash of light. He wakes up aboard a spaceship, recovering in the infirmary. Not knowing how to fly but driven by instinct, he steals a fighter and escapes, maneuvering it like a seasoned pilot. His sudden skill comes from buried DNA memories. To uncover more, his friend, a doctor running a secret underground lab, helps him investigate ways to oppose the rebel regime. When enemy forces attack to reclaim him, a girl named Rei Yuuki single-handedly destroys their entire carrier with just a fighter jet. Both possess strange abilities the enemy covets, possibly linked to being the only known survivors of the meteor strike. While searching for a third survivor-who turns out to be a telepathic cat-they’re captured by Queen Photon, leader of the rebels. She insists she’s trying to save Earth from those who launched the meteor. Unsure whether to trust her or Mello, they’re freed by the cat, and Mello arrives to clarify the truth. Now, the trio faces a choice: remain on a dying planet or venture into the vast unknown of space.
