Dark Gathering - S01

Keitarou Gentouga has always drawn spirits to him because of his strong spiritual energy. A terrifying encounter with one left his right hand cursed, forcing him to wear a glove permanently. Now a college freshman, he tries to live an ordinary life. At the urging of his childhood friend Eiko Houzuki, he takes a job as a private tutor. Since he ranks at the top of his class, his first assignment is the tutoring agency's star student, Yayoi Houzuki. To Keitarou's surprise, Yayoi is Eiko's cousin-and she has two pupils in each eye, giving her the ability to see into the spirit world and actively hunt vengeful spirits. After a car accident killed her parents, Yayoi has been searching for the powerful spirit that stole her mother's soul. Noticing how easily spirits are drawn to Keitarou, she recruits him to help gather other malevolent spirits that might aid her in the coming battle. Though her mission is perilous, Keitarou agrees to assist her, even as every new spirit they encounter tests his determination.
