Joe Shimamura and his friends might look like ordinary people, but they’re far from it. Joe is Cyborg 009, part of a team of cyborgs who battle for justice. Each cyborg has a unique ability-some can melt anything, others breathe underwater or fly. Joe and the other eight were forcibly turned into cyborgs by the Neo-Black Ghosts, who wanted to use them for their own schemes. But instead of obeying, the cyborgs joined forces to fight back against their creators and stand against evil wherever they find it.
