Cooking Master Boy - S01

Set in 19th-century China during the Qing Dynasty, the story unfolds in a time of political unrest, with the Emperor's power fading and the nation nearing chaos. This period is also known as "The Era of the Cooking Wars," a fictional age where elite chefs, each with their own unique culinary styles, strive to hone their craft and claim the title of China's greatest chef. In this world, disrespecting a high-ranking chef or treating cooking lightly can land someone in prison, while impersonating a top chef is akin to treason. Chefs battle not only for prestige but also for influence, though the stakes are high-one wrong move could cost them everything. China is divided into four major culinary regions: Beijing, Szechuan, Shanghai, and Guangdong. The story begins in Szechuan, the birthplace of Mao. After the death of his mother, Pai-known as the "Fairy of Cuisine"-Mao sets out to become a Super Chef, aiming to inherit her title as Master Chef of her restaurant. But before he can take her place, he embarks on a journey across China to expand his culinary knowledge, hoping to one day match his mother’s legendary status. Along the way, he forms bonds with loyal friends and faces fierce rivals eager to test their skills against his in the kitchen.
