Claymore

A shapeshifting demon called a "youma" terrorizes Raki's village, slaughtering its people. A mysterious silver-eyed woman arrives carrying only a sword-she is a "Claymore," a half-human, half-youma hybrid created solely to hunt these monsters. After the Claymore saves Raki from the attack that kills his family, the village exiles him. With no home left, he seeks out the warrior, Clare, and joins her on her travels. Together, they move from town to town, hunting youma while uncovering more about Clare's order and the other warriors like her. Each battle brings them closer to the demon Clare has sworn to destroy-the one that drove her to become a Claymore in the first place.
