Bye & Rønning - S01

In a remote part of feudal Japan, a clumsy young girl wanders with a huge box on her back, searching for a fabled ninja. Her name is Rangiku Ayawatari-the last of her clan-and she’s determined to take revenge on Lord Sadayoshi Karimata, the man who murdered her family and stole the secrets of her father’s prized puppet collection. Instead of the legendary warrior she hoped to find, she stumbles upon Yasaburou Manajiri, a drifter hunted by "deathless ninjas"-mysterious, relentless fighters who shrug off even deadly wounds. When they realize they both want Lord Karimata dead, the two join forces to bring down the tyrant and destroy the eerie puppets hiding a terrible truth.
