Btooom! - S01

Ryouta Sakamoto is a jobless man who still lives with his mother. His only claim to fame is being Japan’s best player of the online game "Btooom!" But his quiet life takes a sharp turn when he wakes up stranded on a remote island, a small green crystal lodged in his left hand, with no idea how he got there. To his horror, someone has brought his favorite game to life-with deadly consequences. Each player is given a bag of special bombs called "BIM" and must kill seven others to collect their crystals and escape. Though Ryouta wants no part in the violence, he soon learns that not all players share his reluctance. Forced to fight to survive, he teams up with Himiko, another "Btooom!" player, as they struggle to uncover the truth behind the deadly game and find a way off the island.
