Blade Dance of Elementalers - S01

On his way to Areishia Spirit Academy, Kamito Kazehaya accidentally stumbles upon Claire Rouge, a student bathing as part of a purification ritual. She was attempting to form a contract with a powerful spirit to grow stronger as an "elementalist," but her efforts backfire when Kamito ends up bonded with the spirit instead-even though only shrine maidens are supposed to wield such power. Undeterred, Claire declares that Kamito must now become "her" contracted spirit. After arriving at the academy, Kamito manages to slip away from Claire and meets Headmaster Greyworth Ciel Mais, who offers him a place at the school. Though reluctant, Kamito agrees to enroll-despite being the only male student among aspiring shrine princesses-in exchange for information about his former contracted spirit, Restia Ashdoll. To complicate things further, Greyworth demands one more thing: Kamito must compete in and win the upcoming Blade Dance, a fierce battle tournament held in two months. There, he’ll face the academy’s strongest elementalist, who is rumored to wield a darkness spirit.
