In late 19th-century England, a year and three months after the events of the original series, "Kuroshitsuji II" follows a new butler and his young master. Alois Trancy, though cheerful on the surface, harbors a cruel streak-a result of a troubled past. As a child, he was kidnapped and forced into slavery in a remote village. Over time, he lost his parents, his closest friend, and everyone he cared about. After finally returning to his family estate and taking over as its master, Alois begins acting strangely. Even more puzzling is the presence of his new butler, Claude Faustus-a cold, inscrutable man whose skills defy explanation.
