Banana Fish - S01
BANANA FISH
Aslan Jade Callenreese, who goes by Ash Lynx, was a runaway taken in by New York City’s ruthless mafia boss, Dino Golzine. Now seventeen and leading his own gang, Ash is looking into the meaning behind "Banana Fish"-words his older brother, Griffin, has repeated ever since coming back from the Iraq War. But when Dino sends his men after Ash at an underground bar he uses as a hideout, his search is thrown off track. At the bar, Ash’s friend Skip introduces him to Shunichi Ibe and Eiji Okumura, two Japanese photographers documenting American street gangs. Before they can talk much, Ash gets a warning call from his ally Shorter Wong-Dino is coming for him. Chaos erupts when Dino’s men raid the place, kidnapping Skip and Eiji in the process. Now, Ash has to save them and keep digging into Banana Fish, but his tangled past with the mafia might stand in his way.
