Baccano! - S01
バッカーノ！
In 1930s Chicago, the transcontinental train Flying Pussyfoot embarks on a journey that will soon leave a bloody trail across the nation. Meanwhile, in New York, the determined scientist Szilard and his reluctant assistant Ennis hunt for stolen bottles of an immortality elixir. At the same time, tensions between rival mafia factions escalate into all-out war. Centuries earlier, aboard the Advena Avis in 1711, a group of alchemists discovers the true cost of eternal life. Based on the acclaimed light novels, "Baccano!" weaves together seemingly disconnected events across different times and places, revealing a larger tale of alchemy, survival, and the pursuit of immortality. At the heart of it all are the good-natured but bumbling thieves Isaac and Miria, whose actions intertwine the fates of countless individuals-each with their own secrets and motives-forging bonds and consequences that last lifetimes.
