Ayakashi - S01

As a kid, Yuu Kusaka promised himself under a shooting star that he’d fight for justice and protect the weak. But after losing a close friend, he abandons that dream, ignoring the suffering around him and using his strange powers only to earn money instead of helping others. He drifts through life this way-until another classmate with similar abilities forces him into a life-or-death battle. A mysterious girl named Eimu Yoake saves him, revealing she has powers of her own. Eimu explains that his abilities come from an "ayakashi," a parasitic creature that grants strength while slowly consuming its host’s life. She helps Yuu fully awaken his power, forcing him to confront his past vow. Now, with his ayakashi’s strength, Yuu must fight against those who misuse their own powers while uncovering the truth behind his friend’s death.
