ATRI -My Dear Moments- - S01

As sea levels rise dramatically, humanity struggles to survive on dwindling habitable land, relying on old technology to endure. Among those affected is Natsuki Ikaruga, a bright young graduate whose life was shattered when he lost his leg in a submarine accident. Now, he lives a bleak existence on a nearly abandoned island. His life changes when he meets Catherine, a mysterious woman who leads him to an advanced humanoid robot once owned by his grandmother Nonko, a famous climatologist. The robot, named Atri, looks and acts like a young girl but has forgotten the important mission Nonko entrusted to her. Though Natsuki first considers selling Atri for profit, he reconsiders when he realizes she might hold the key to his grandmother’s research. Once, he gave up his dream of joining a prestigious scientific expedition, but as he bonds with Atri and his neighbors, he begins to see a new purpose-one that could still bring hope to their fading world.
