Yukito Kunisaki travels from town to town, performing puppet shows to earn a living while searching for the Winged Maiden-a figure from an old story his mother once told him about a girl tied to the sky long ago. One day, he arrives in a quiet town, expecting to move on quickly. But when he meets a peculiar girl named Misuzu, she invites him to stay with her, and his plans suddenly change.
