ACTORS: Songs Connection - S01

Tensho School, in the 7th Ward of Thrive Central, prioritizes extracurricular activities, with all clubs taking part in a yearly fall singing contest. Saku Otonomiya, a transfer student, had to postpone the start of his school year after his older sister was hospitalized. Now, juggling a part-time job and caring for her, he struggles to adjust to his busy new life and can’t seem to find time to join a club. As the singing contest approaches, the school’s singing club wants to perform Sousuke Kagura’s song "Cloudy Days," but Kagura hesitates to give permission. The song demands a three-octave vocal range, and he insists only a VOCALOID could do it justice. He agrees to let them use the song-but only if they find a singer who can meet that standard. While struggling to compose his next song, Kagura overhears Otonomiya singing "Cloudy Days" flawlessly and invites him to form a duo for the contest. Meanwhile, the singing club pressures Otonomiya to join them so they can secure Kagura’s song. With the contest drawing near, Otonomiya must confront his doubts and choose which path to take.
