A Condition Called Love - S01

Hotaru Hinase is sixteen and has never experienced romance. She's content with her life, surrounded by friends and family, and doesn't believe love is something meant for her-she doesn't even fully grasp what it means. One day, while out with a friend, she sees her classmate Hananoi going through a painful breakup. Later, she finds him sitting alone in the snow and offers him shelter under her umbrella. The next day, to her shock, he confesses his feelings for her. Hotaru turns him down, but Hananoi refuses to give up, going out of his way to win her over-changing his appearance, searching for a hairpin she lost-anything to get her attention. Though she doesn't return his feelings, Hotaru thinks spending time with him might help her understand love. She agrees to date him, slowly learning what it means to be in a relationship, including how to respond to Hananoi's relentless kindness.
